Growing together in Community!

Community is about believers working together to encourage, care for, nurture, and love on each other.

Ways we build our Community at HAC

  • Family Feasts: September to June.  On the last Sunday of the month, we have a Potluck feast and fellowship immediately after church. Bring a main dish and veggie and/or salad and/or dessert. We often have new people and visitors join us, so our members are encouraged to bring enough main dish and side dish foods to feed their whole family plus 2.
  • Brule BBQ: Up to twice a year, we meet in Brule for a BBQ, pick up baseball game, activities for the kids and a fun time of fellowship in the mountains.
  • 50+ Potluck: A fun night out for those over 50. Potluck supper and socializing. Third Friday of the month at 6pm, September to June.
  • Men's Breakfast: Second Saturday of the month, 8am, September to June. Full breakfast, prayer, discussion, discipleship, visiting.
  • Women's Retreat: Friday/Saturday fall event with speaker, activities, Praise, great food and fun. Look to the events calendar for dates.
  • Sports nights: Periodic parties to watch big sporting events
  • Weekend Summits/conferences: Different speakers and topics to build up our faith and walk with Christ. See events calendar for upcoming dates
  • Greeters/Ushers/Welcome Centre: Numerous ways to welcome people who come through our door and guide them to what we offer at HAC
  • Student recognition: We highlight (and give treats) to our graduates
